Biography

Born in Austria, educated in Germany and the US, Gunter Dittmar has practiced in Germany and, before coming to Minnesota, taught in Texas and California. He has also taught on the East Coast and been a visiting critic at Columbia University, Yale, MIT and Berkeley.

Current Research

Current scholarly work focuses on issues of Architectural Theory & Philosophy, and Design Theory & Methodology with a particular emphasis on a phenomenological approach to architecture.
